i worked for many years with very mixed race students and they always told me i showed no racism towards them and even spoke out for them when other staff did - i once put 5 black students forwards for uni and got complaints about me made to the principal who backed me and all five got their degrees - they had been facing supermarket shelf filling type or basic social care jobs before they had me as a tutor
